I created Quill as the focus of my senior thesis project, in the Spring of 2024. Born from of a personal passion for handwritten notes, stationery, and fine art, Quill was created to encourage sincere living and community among its audience. The purpose of Quill is to bring back the lost art of handwritten communication, to provide opportunities for creating in a community, and to promote the impact and meaning behind something as small as a notecard.

“Quill exists to encourage people to adopt a lifestyle dedicated to true connection, community, and genuine relationships.”

Quill Patterns

This is the gallery of 10 patterns I created to be used across Quill’s products. Each design began as an original watercolor, was scanned, and then turned into a continuous repeat pattern.
